Venue Hire

Shifnal Cricket Club is the perfect place for private venue hire. Whether you’re hosting a meeting, planning a party or wanting to run a regular class, we can cater for your requirements. We offer ample parking, a fully-functioning kitchen, large projector screen, toilets with baby changing facilities and a well-stocked bar selling an array of beverages (additional costs for use of the bar apply).

Club Booking

Corporate Booking

Shifnal Cricket Club is the ideal place to hold meetings and training sessions and our facilities can be booked for a half or full day, in between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30, at the following rates:

Half Day - £70
Full Day - £130

Community Booking

Our Facilities are available to hire by anyone in our local community - whether it be for a private party or for a class for local people to attend. The hire charge is based on an hourly rate, that differs for off-peak periods in the week, and depends on whether you require the use of the Bar or not:

Terms & Conditions

• Minimum hire periods apply - 3hrs for Community bookings, half day for Corporate bookings
• Substantial time (minimum of 1hr) will be provided free of charge for event set up – additional time will be provided where possible, however this is at the discretion of the Cricket Club and dependent on other activities taking place
• An additional £100 damage deposit required for all bookings – SCC aim to return this within 1 week after the event, once a post-event inspection has taken place
• A booking will not be confirmed until full balance, plus damage deposit, has been paid
• Booking enquiries can reserve a date for 1 week only – after this time, if payment hasn’t been made, the date will be released 
• A 48hr cancelation policy applies:
  • Over 48hrs notice = all monies returned
  • 24hr – 48hrs notice = 50% of booking + £100 damage deposit returned 
  • Less than 24hr notice = only £100 damage deposit returned
• 20% discount applies for Members (who have a valid Membership Card) and Sponsors
• Full T&Cs and a Letting Hire Agreement will be shared before any bookings are finalised 
• SCC reserves the right to review hire charges at any point (this will not impact any confirmed upcoming bookings)
