Batting first, Shifnal produced a commanding performance, posting 144 from their 16 overs thanks to valuable contributions from Katie, Esther, Holly, and Anna, who kept the scoreboard moving and the pressure firmly on the hosts.
Shelton’s reply never truly gathered momentum. Shifnal’s bowlers and fielders were relentless, restricting the home side to 94 from their 16 overs. Wickets were shared between Neve, Gemma, and Chloe, while Katie added to her all‑round display with a sharp run out.
Going through an entire season undefeated is an outstanding achievement — a reflection of the squad’s commitment, talent, and togetherness throughout the summer. Every player has played their part, and the league title is richly deserved.
