The 2025 season has seen Shifnal Cricket Club go from strength to strength not only in local cricket but in the County of Shropshire as a whole. It has been fantastic to see matches well attended resulting in the Shifnal and the Shropshire County team performing at their best.
22nd June 2025 saw Shifnal Cricket Club host the semi-final match between Suffolk and Shropshire County Cricket Club that resulted in the Shropshire team going through to the final of the NCCA. Replying to Suffolk Cricket's 223-9 off 40 overs, Shropshire reached a revised target of 160 from 29 overs with a ball to spare to win by four wickets under the DLS method.
